Sunseekers  -   Artist Statement

These small paintings are an exploration of surface and paint.  I used collage to create extra texture.  Not something I normally do, but great fun!

 I collaborated with the Library Of Birmingham and wanted some small energetic paintings to show as it was the middle of winter.

Although abstract, a landscape element has crept in.  Possibly a result of remembered holidays abroad and the sun.
