Why do we do what we do?  Whats the point of creativity and Art?  One answer and of course there are many others is that it's to do with our survival as a species.  Would we be where we are if not for past creatives? The wheel after all was someones bright idea!

Is being creative instinctive.  I feel it is.  In my mind it helps me reconcile the world.  I paint quite a bit but its not all out on show.  There are a lot of brain dumps before its a coherent piece.

With this project I am trying to approach painting from a perspective of process not product.  So I am not starting with an image in mind.  I will be trying different mediums and tools and see what happens.  The idea is to start 'dumping' if you like and see if we can make sense of the mess that is the artwork!
